Owner/President
Maria
Victoria Delgado Ryan gained
language skill and expertise
during a career in international
operations in South America and
the United States. Mrs. Ryan, a
native Spanish speaker from
Colombia, is bilingual in English
and Spanish. She is accredited by
the American Translators
Association (ATA). Educated in
Spain, she also studied at
Georgetown University.
---Mrs.
Ryan has experience in public
relations and tourism and has
been a freelance writer and
translator for more than 20
years. She also worked with
international organizations in
Washington, D.C. These included
the Organization of American
States (OAS) and the
Inter-American Institute for
Cooperation in Agriculture
(IICA).
---In
San Antonio, she was a volunteer
translator for the 1991 NAFTA
negotiations and the 1992 summit
meeting of the U.S. and Latin
American chiefs of state. She
established Summit International
Expert Translations in 1992.
